FROM PERFORMANCE TO IMPACT: FHFL CHARTS 2026 COURSE AT AGM

April 02, 2026

On 31 March, the Board of Directors of Family Homes Funds Limited (FHFL), led by the Chairman, Mr. Ademola Adebise, convened its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Shareholders’ Meeting to review performance for the 2025 financial year and consider strategic priorities for 2026.

The meeting provided a platform for a comprehensive assessment of the organisation’s financial performance, operational milestones, and broader impact within Nigeria’s housing sector. Key deliberations focused on strengthening delivery frameworks, expanding access to affordable housing, and deepening partnerships across both public and private sectors to enhance scale and sustainability.

A notable highlight of the meeting was the induction of a new Board member. Mr. George Nyesom Stanley formally joined the Board, representing the Ministry of Finance, succeeding Ms. Aisha Omar, whose contributions to the Board were duly acknowledged and appreciated.

Members in attendance included the Chairman, Mr. Ademola Adebise; the Managing Director, Mr. Abdulmuttalab Mukhtar; Dr. Emeka Henry Inegbu, Executive Director (Operations); Mr. Abdullahi Musa, Executive Director (Finance); and Mr. Tajudeen Datti Ahmed, representing the Ministry of Finance Incorporated. Also present were Non-Executive Directors Mrs. Ijeoma Taylor, Mrs. Bilkisu Usman, and Mr. Abdulqawil Bello, while other members joined virtually.

In his address, the Chairman emphasised that beyond financial performance, FHFL’s social impact footprint continues to deepen. He noted that the organisation’s programmes have facilitated thousands of mortgages, generated both direct and indirect employment across the construction value chain, trained artisans in various building trades, and delivered targeted skills empowerment initiatives for youth and women in host communities.

He further underscored that every home delivered serves as a catalyst for economic activity, reinforcing FHFL’s commitment to systematically measure, document, and communicate its impact with clarity and pride.

In closing, the Chairman reaffirmed the Board’s belief in the transformative power of housing, noting that access to a safe and secure home has the potential to positively alter the trajectory of individuals, uplift communities, and contribute meaningfully to national development.
