Family Homes Funds Limited (FHFL) recently visited the Renewed Hope Cities and Estate Project in Janguza, Kano State, a groundbreaking initiative set to deliver homes for at least 3,000 families in phases. This project is a key part of the current administration’s affordable housing agenda, targeting low- to middle-income households.
The Renewed Hope Housing Cities and Estates Scheme, a partnership between the Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority, and Continental Civil and General Construction Company (CCGCC), aims to provide 100,000 homes nationwide. In its first phase, FHFL is supervising the construction of 317 housing units in Kano, including:
• 3-Bedroom Bungalows
• 3-Bedroom Terrace Duplexes with Boys’ Quarters (BQ)
• 4-Bedroom Terrace Duplexes
• 4-Bedroom Bungalows
Scheduled for completion by February 2026, these homes will benefit civil servants, National Housing Fund (NHF) contributors, and other eligible Nigerians. Aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, this project drives economic growth through housing and infrastructure investments. FHFL’s role extends beyond financing, offering project management and technical expertise to ensure quality, timely delivery and affordability.
The initiative is also an economic catalyst, projected to create about 15,560 direct and indirect jobs and prioritize local content, empowering businesses and communities in the region. With FHFL’s ongoing commitment, the Renewed Hope Cities and Estates Project is poised to reshape Nigeria’s housing landscape and uplift thousands of lives.
