As part of its commitment to advancing social housing development in Nigeria, the management of Family Homes Funds Ltd. (FHFL), led by the Managing Director, Abdul Mutallab Mukhtar, conducted an official site visit to FHFL’s pilot sustainable housing project in Kaduna State. Accompanying him were two Executive Directors; Dr. Emeka Henry Inegbu (Executive Director, Operations) and Abdullahi Musa (Executive Director, Finance), alongside other key officials, to assess the progress of the transformative initiative.
During the visit, the delegation engaged with beneficiaries who had
recently completed skills acquisition training, an integral component of
the project aimed at fostering economic empowerment. The beneficiaries
received training in various business sectors, including information and
communication technology (ICT), potato farming, catering, and cosmetics
production.
This innovative housing project, comprising 100 homes constructed using alternative building technology, is specifically designed to support 100 widows, providing them with both secure housing and sustainable livelihood opportunities. Currently, at 90% completion, the project is set for finalisation and handover to beneficiaries within the next four weeks.
FHFL remains steadfast in its mission to deliver impactful housing solutions that drive environmental sustainability, economic growth, and community well-being.
