The Role
The purpose of this position is to oversee the overall operation of FHFL procurement processes and help FHFL accomplish its strategic objectives by achieving 80% of procurement process standardization and to ensure that FHFL has the necessary goods and services it needs to operate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop procurement plans, identifying needs and defining the requirements for the goods and services in line with the yearly budget.
- Identifying, evaluating and selecting vendors, negotiating contracts and managing relationships with FHFL Suppliers/Vendors.
- Develop and manage contracts including ensuring compliance with contractual terms, tracking delivery schedules and ensuring goods are delivered satisfactorily and payments are made in a timely manner.
- Develop and manage Procurement, HR and Administration budgets, forecasting expenditures and ensuring that procurement activities remain within budget.
- Making purchasing decisions in accordance with procurement plans and budgets.
- Preparing and presenting reports on procurement activities for Managements approval
- Ensuring that FHFL procurement activities comply with applicable laws and internal policies.
- Manages all company’s assets and insurance policies.
- Identifying and mitigating risks associated with procurement activities, including vendor non-performance and internal policies.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in construction and developmental projects• Experience of statutory financial reporting and knowledge of GAAP, IFRS.
- 9 years work experience within Finance Management in an investment, asset management or a private equity firm is required.
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Master's degree in Business related course or relevant certifications, such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, supply chain management, procurement, finance, or a related discipline.
